Junior Finance Controller

For one of our biggest clients, a global group of companies, we are looking for a Junior Finance Controller with strong motivation to develop a career in Finance, to join their team in Ruse, Bulgaria.

Responsibilities:

• Controlling and responsible for correct accounting operations and accounting processes in SAP in line with IFRS, local tax legislation and the group guidelines
• Ensuring and controlling legal compliance including correct filing of all documents required by the Bulgarian law, ensuring compliance with tax legislation, tax filings, government reporting requirements (NRA, NSSI, NSI, etc.), etc.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements within the defined deadlines
• Coordinating, tracking and controlling invoicing process in respect to the fiscal requirements
• Preparation of accounting and transfer price documentation and guidelines defined by local law and/or CFGA
• Responsible for Inventory control, cash register control and Fixed Assets Accounting
• Preparing, analyzing and reporting the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Supporting internal and external tax (finance) audits
• Supporting the management and group controlling with the budgeting process
• Analyzing and reporting Actual/Budget Variance on monthly basis
• Investment and project controlling including support in preparation of investment proposals, Return of Investment (ROI) calculation, etc.
• Identification of optimization potentials through the value chain, derivation and control of measures to improve the result
• Preparing periodical controlling reports, as well as other reports upon management’s request, within the defined deadlines
• Performs other job tasks received from his direct superior

Main requirements:

• Recently graduated or a final-year student in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or another relevant field
• Excellent level of English language
• Motivation to learn and to develop a career in the Finance field
•  Responsibility and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
