The production company Construction Tools EOOD, Ruse, was founded in 1987 as company for hydro drilling equipment. During the period 2005-2017, the company was part of the Swedish Group Atlas Copco, which has invested intensively in the construction of new production facilities, optimization of the production process and enrichment of the products range. From the beginning of February 2018, the company was acquired by the Swedish Group Husqvarna. The factory manufactures light compaction machines and concrete placement equipment, hand-held hydraulic equipment for construction such as rollers, screeds, trowels. We are looking to employ Purchaser.

Main tasks:

    Manages development of existing suppliers (divided in commodity groups), considering their performance in terms of quality, supply and prices, as well as regulates the number of required active suppliers.

    Negotiate contractual terms and manage the relationships with the suppliers, in order to meet current and future business expectations.

    Ensure that the production needs are fully met in terms of price, service level and quality.

    Maintain short- and long-term plans for specific categories of purchasing.

    Actively participates in selection of new suppliers in order to reduce purchase costs and, if necessary to ensure additional capacity.

    Prepares and tracks requests for quotations, analyzes them and submits them to the Purchasing manager for final selection of suppliers.

    Handling of the sampling process after receiving of quotations and selection of potential suppliers (orders for sample, tracking of delivery dates, communicate with suppliers all related topics to the assignment, including providing of feedback to suppliers).

    Responsible to track each stage during the approval process for the samples, as according to Husqvarna's internal procedures.

    Responsible for maintaining and storage of up-to-date documentation when working with suppliers - contracts, offer updates, protocols from measurement, packaging instructions, drawing updates, others.

    Execution of various operational tasks related to the purchasing process, assigned by the Purchasing manager.

    Prepares monthly reports and analysis for the Purchasing Manager for the performed activities and achieved results on monitored KPI.

Experience requirements:

    University Degree in Business administration, Economics or Engineering;

    Fluency in English;

    Knowledge of working with all MS office applications. Proficient use of modern IT ERP/MRP systems;

    Analytical skills (including data collection, analysis and review; etc);

    Continuous improvement oriented;

    Experience in cross-functional communication;

    Problem solving background.

To be considered as a plus:

    At least one year of experience in commodity purchasing or sourcing team within the Sourcing / Procurement department of an industrial manufacturing and/or processing global environment.

    Ability to accept business trips in abroad (not often, but could be a must).
