MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the management and distribution of power throughout the production units, ensuring a consistent and reliable power supply (electricity, water, air, gas) to support various film production activities.
- Manage the maintenance and operation of power generation equipment, including generators, transformers, and electrical systems, to ensure they are functioning efficiently and safely to meet the demands of film production.
- Implement strategies to enhance energy efficiency and promote sustainability within the production units, such as optimizing power usage, incorporating renewable energy sources where feasible, and reducing energy waste to minimize environmental impact and operational costs.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance related to power generation and distribution systems, conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential violations, and implementing corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment for production employees.
- Develop and implement contingency plans and emergency procedures to address power outages, equipment failures, or other unforeseen events that may disrupt film production operations, ensuring timely response and resolution to minimize downtime and production delays.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to a team of electricians and mechanics, ensuring they are effectively organized, motivated, and equipped to carry out their duties efficiently.
- Implement quality assurance measures and standards to ensure that electrical and mechanical work meets industry regulations, safety codes, and company standards.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical problems or challenges related to electrical and mechanical systems, equipment malfunctions, or production constraints.
