Mechanical Design Engineer

FAAC Group, world leader in access automation, parking and access control, including 40 sales companies, more than 3.600 employees worldwide and 18 manufacturing plants, is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer.

The location of the position is Ruse with periodic trips to the production plant in Tutrakan.
The candidate will be part of the Manufacturing Design department located in the Headquarter /Bologna, Italy/ and will report functionally to the Manufacturing Design responsible, hierarchically to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager of the plant in Tutrakan.
The candidate will be work within a dynamic and innovative context inspired by the principles of Lean Thinking, characterized by teamwork and a streamlined decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and re-design of our new and existing assembly lines
• Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout
• High involvement in new product development process
• Creation of necessary technical documentation and training materials
• Constant assurance of respect of all related safety regulations
• Close collaboration with the Production, Maintenance department and Project Teams
• Being point of reference for colleagues in our manufacturing plants abroad

Key Requirements:
• University Degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronic / Engineering;
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment of at least 2 years;
• Excellent skills in analyzing mechanical;
• Good knowledge in the use of Autocad and CAD 3D NX;
• Fluency in English, written and spoken;
• Willingness to travel, if needed;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change.
