Logistic Specialist

We are currently looking for:

LOGISTIC SPECIALIST, Sofia

What you will do
You will contribute to the company’s overall goals and strategy by delivering on following main responsibilities:

• Daily responds and organizes with the needed quality, within the specified time and at the optimal price transportation of shipments to and from the company;
• Coordinates the loading and transportation of shipments;
• Coordinates and controls the carriers;
• Resolves issues in the process of transporting shipments;
• Summarizes logistical information and prepares reports;
• Provides information and assists clients and colleagues in case of issues;
• Demonstrates maximum ingenuity in the organization of transport and other logistics activities;
• Compiles, prepares and monitors the implementation of insurance and protest letters;
• Prepares periodic reports in connection with the monitoring of goods and reports to the interesred parties;
• Organizes customs formalities;
• Prepares the documents for transportation and loading and unloading activity;
• Ensures the correct arrangement of shipments in the vehicle;
• Processes, stores and presents the relevant documentation for the shipments to the accounting and other departments of the company by request;
• Keeps the warehouses, facilities and material according to the established order;
• Performs tasks assigned by the line manager related to the activities of the department.

Who you are
To be successful in this role you need the following qualification:

• Experience in working with specialized warehousing and accounting programs;
• Excellent computer literacy;
• Very good English- written and verbal;
• Experience in working with freight forwarders, couriers and other companies providing logistics services;
• Experience with customs formalities
